Area Information
The Leavenworth Area

Leavenworth is a beautiful town modeled after a traditional Bavarian mountain town. Nearby Stevens Pass provides awesome skiing and snowboarding in the winter, while the eastern Cascade foothills near town hold world-class mountain biking, rock climbing, and hiking. All of the snow-melt runoff streams right through town and past the LOGE Leavenworth, it also creates some of the best whitewater rafting in Washington. The town itself has great restaurants and bars to enjoy the summer sunshine and Bavarian brews. Travel to Leavenworth for a great mountain getaway.

Trip Planning

Trip Planning

It can get pretty toasty in Leavenworth on long sunny summer days. Plan on getting out on the mountain bike trails earlier in the day to beat the heat. It’s also pretty dry in this part of Washington, contrary to the state’s reputation. However, it can still get pretty chilly at night, so be ready for anything. Bring your mountain bike, or demo a brand new bike from the evo Mountain Bike Demo Center at the LOGE. The mountain biking in the area is best suited to intermediate and advanced riders. There are great trails that can be accessed both by pedaling and by shuttling up in a car or truck.
