Denver Ski, Snowboard, Bike, Wake & Skate Shop

  evo's flagship Denver store is located at 860 Broadway in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. The building, originally constructed in 1927 as an auto shop, has been completely restored to offer nearly 10,000 square feet of more than 150 brands in action sports gear and apparel for ski, snowboard, skate, and bike. Ski, snowboard, and bike service is operated with over 20 years of experience by Matt Hupperts and his team - formerly of Denver’s premier shop Edgeworks/Bicycle Doctor. The store also features a ski boot fitting bar for custom boot fitting services.

Designed as a community gathering space, the store regularly hosts events, monthly art shows featuring pieces from action sports athletes and brands, fundraisers, movie and music premieres, and parties. evo works directly with organizations like the Colorado Avalanche Information Center to provide free avalanche safety clinics throughout the season and hosts a variety of fundraising events for nonprofit partners such as SOS Outreach throughout the year.

So here we are after many years, a few different offices, lots of coffee, countless late nights, 100’s of powder days on the hill, and early morning sessions on the lake, we are excited to join the local Denver community and present to the public a truly unique community ski, snowboard, skate and bike shop for everyone to enjoy.

An Evening with Joey Schusler

Details: Join us Friday, June 8 for an evening of photos and film by Boulder native, adventurer, mountain biker, photographer and filmmaker, Joey Schusler as he screens his latest film "RJ Ripper". Joey shares the story of Nepali MTB National Champion, Rajesh Magar. From growing up in Kathmandu and teaching himself to ride a bicycle at 13 to becoming a National Geographic's Adventurer of the Year, Joey captures the passion RJ has for riding his bike and how it provides the opportunity for a different path than most who grow up in the shadow of Mt. Everest.

The Fun/Suffer Divide Screening

Details: The Denver Patagonia store will be showing evo's short film "the Fun/Suffer Divide" along with a slideshow, Q&A about planning backcountry mountain biking adventures and encouraging attendees to join the staff of evo, Patagonia and the Colorado Mountain Bike Association for a trail work party the following day.


Work Party with COMBA, evo and Patagonia

Details: Join the staff of the Denver evo and Patagonia stores along with the Colorado Mountain Bike Association for a trail work party. This comes on the heals of screening evo's bikepacking film "The Fun/Suffer Divide" so we're hoping to get into the high country if snow levels will allow to begin fixing trails that may need repair after winter.


Friday Night Mountain Bike Demos at Ruby Hill Park

Location: Ruby Hill Park

Details: Stop by after work for some laps and free demos at Ruby Hill Park. We're bringing our entire fleet of demo bikes.Stop by say hi and take a spin on one of the many bikes we have for demo from Evil, Transition, Giant, Liv, Santa Cruz, and Juliana. Don't forget, you'll need an ID, Credit Card, helmets, shoes and pedals (if you have them)


Jim Harris // Perpetual Weekend Fundraiser for High 5s Foundation

Date: Sunday, July 22

Time: 6-9pm

Details: Colorado based artist, photographer and story teller, Jim Harris will have art on display and offering live print press pieces to help Denver kick off the Outdoor Retailer Summer Show while raising money for the High 5s Foundation whose mission is to provide resources and inspiration to athletes who suffer life altering injuries. Join us for an awesome evening of friends, family and community coming together for a good cause.
