Itinerary
Itinerary
  • 1
    Day number 1
Arrive at the Bariloche airport (BRC) and meet your evo host and the rest of the crew before we shuttle to Base41, our slopeside home for the week. After check-in, we’ll get dialed — organize rentals, fine-tune gear, and meet our local, expert guides who will be leading the charge on the mountain. As the sun sets over the Andes, we’ll gather for a welcome dinner in the village to ease into the pace of Patagonia and kick off the week together.
  • 2
    Day number 2
Fuel up with hearty breakfast at our homebase before heading out for today's adventure. We start our week on the mountain with our expert guides, Juan and Jeremias, introducing us to Cerro Catedral, home to nearly 3,000 skiable acres and South America's largest resort. Each day we'll seek out the best conditions, with plentiful options from wide-open bowls, scenic groomers, or sheltered glades. There’s no rush — just time to find your rhythm, enjoy the snow, and take in sweeping Andean views. After skiing, return to Base41 to unwind at your own pace before dinner options in the village.
  • 3
    Day number 3
With a day on the mountain under our belts, we’ll continue exploring more of Catedral’s expansive terrain, letting weather and group preference guide the plan. Expect a balance of great skiing, plenty of breaks, and good company. This evening, we’ll head to El Mallín (KM 12) for a relaxed dinner featuring regional flavors and warm Patagonian hospitality — a guest favorite for good reason.
  • 4
    Day number 4
Today offers the chance to explore a little further. Those who wish can join certified guides for lift-accessed backcountry terrain, accessing remarkable views and untracked snow when conditions allow. Those who prefer to stay inbounds will enjoy another excellent day with our guide team. We regroup in the evening to share stories from the day.
  • 5
    Day number 5
By now the group has found its rhythm and the guides have a great sense of what each individual enjoys most — whether that’s wide-open alpine bowls, scenic cruisers, or winding tree lines. Today is about leaning into that flow, refining your turns, and enjoying the easy comfort that comes from feeling at home on the mountain. The evening is yours to relax or explore more of Bariloche’s inviting food scene.
  • 6
    Day number 6
This is our final full ski day, and we’ll make the most of it. Guides may return to favorite zones discovered earlier in the week or seek out new terrain based on conditions and group preference. For those who’d like, certified guides can again offer the option to explore lift-accessed backcountry terrain if conditions allow. In the evening, we’ll head into Bariloche town for a relaxed and celebratory dinner — the perfect way to savor the week and enjoy one last taste of Patagonia together.
  • 7
    Day number 7
Savor your final morning with the crew before packing up and checking out of Base41. Our private shuttle will take the group back to the Bariloche airport for onward travel. Legs may be tired, but hearts will be full — and Patagonia tends to stay with you long after you’ve left.

FAQ
FAQ
  • Is my trip guaranteed?
Please note there is a minimum number of guests required for this trip to run. Please wait until you receive a confirmation email from evoTrip before finalizing any travel plans.
  • I'm ready to book. What next?
To secure your spot, you can either pay the full amount now or contact Customer Care at 1.866.386.1590 if you prefer to only pay your $1,000 per person deposit. Note that regardless of paying full payment or deposit at time of booking, we will consider $1,000 to be a non-refundable deposit in accordance with our terms and conditions. Full payment is due 60 days prior to departure.
  • Can I choose my roommate?
Yes. If you have a roommate request, please let us know. By default, we will place two people of the same gender in a room with two beds, unless you are a solo traveler wishing to upgrade to your own room.
  • What if I'm a solo traveler that would like a roommate but none are available?
If you are a solo traveler that would like a roommate, we do our best to pair you with another solo traveler of the same gender. However, if no roommate option is available and you must be assigned your own room, you will be asked to pay 50% of the single supplement to cover the cost of your room. In this case, as the single supplement is $1,050, you would be liable for $525 extra. Please note roommates are paired on a first come, first served basis, so the earlier you book the less likely you will be "forced" into a single room.
  • When and how do I meet up with the group?
You are responsible for booking your own travel. Please ensure your flights arrives at the Bariloche (BRC) airport by August 30, the first day of your trip.
  • Can I book a private room?
Yes. Single occupancy rooms may be available at an additional cost of $1,050. Please contact us if you are interested and note that single rooms are subject to availability, and will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.
  • What level of skier or snowboarder do I need to be?
We recommend this trip for intermediate and above skiers and riders. More specifically, this tour is best suited to skiers and snowboarders who can link turns in a variety of snow conditions, can make a variety of turn shapes and can traverse, hold speed and explore various parts of the mountain. Please reach out to [email protected] if you have any questions about ability level.
  • Are rentals available or do I need to bring my own equipment?
We recommend that you bring your own gear. There are rentals available at a local snow shop and at the mountain, unfortunately there is not a list of rental equipment available and we cannot guarantee that you will have access to specific sizes or brands.
  • Can I (or my traveling companion) come even if I don’t ski or snowboard?
Yes. The primary activity on these trips is skiing or snowboarding; however, there may be options if you or your loved one does not currently participate. There is also a ski school at Cerro Catedral if you or your traveling companion would like to sign up for lessons and/or rentals at an additional cost. For folks not interested in learning to ski / snowboard, there are opportunities for other activities and the location is beautiful and relaxing. We may be able to help coordinate other activities though these will not be guided by our staff.
  • Will we be able to wash our clothes?
Yes. Hotel Base41 provides laundry services.
  • Can my dietary restrictions be accommodated?
Yes, please provide advance notice of any dietary restrictions and we will be sure to communicate to restaurants and providers throughout the trip on your behalf.
  • What if I need to change or cancel my trip?
We understand that life happens. If you cannot or no longer wish to join your scheduled trip, we offer the option to forward your deposit to a future evoTrip (at no cost) up to 65 days prior to departure date. However, if you need to cancel, the deposit for the trip is non-refundable and cancellations will be subject to a cancellation fee (see policy below). For this reason, we recommend purchasing travelers insurance, which will cover the cost of your trip in extenuating circumstances. All cancellations must be submitted to evo in writing, are effective as of the date we receive them according to our internal records, and will be subject to a cancellation fee as follows (amounts are per person and only apply to amount paid after the $1,000 non-refundable deposit amount): Cancellation 60 days or more prior to trip departure - Non-Refundable $1,000 Deposit charged. Cancellation between 30 and 59 days prior to trip departure - 50% of total booking cost charged. Cancellation less than 30 days prior to departure - 100% of total booking cost charged. Cancellation policy for custom trips may differ from these terms and will be communicated prior to booking. No refunds will be made if you voluntarily leave a trip for any reason after the trip has begun. The same applies if you leave a trip or cannot fully participate in a trip due to injury or illness. Refunds will be at the discretion of the Company if you are involuntarily forced to leave a trip for any reason. No refunds will be made for any accommodation, transport, sightseeing, meals or services not utilized.
  • Should I purchase travel insurance?
YES! While it is not required, we always recommend purchasing travel insurance for all trips. Travel insurance allows you to seek reimbursement if you are forced to cancel your trip for unforeseeable reasons, or if you need to cover medical help, emergency transport, theft and/or accidental damage while traveling. We recommend World Nomads.
