Olympia & Olympic Peninsula Mountain Bike Trail Guide

Mountain bikers will find some awesome trail systems near Olympia, and further north on the Olympic Peninsula. In this western part of Washington, there is a great variety of riding, ranging from huge cross country rides, to some of the best downhill mountain biking in Washington State. Just outside of Olympia, the Capitol State Forest has mile after mile of trail that can be linked in innumerable ways for fun riding and great variety. There are also some great mountain bike trails just outside of Port Angeles on the Olympic Peninsula. Here, the Dry Hill area has a crazy fun network of downhill mountain bike trails.
