evoFit Custom Bootfitting Program

evoFit is designed to provide skiers with a high-quality bootfit that balances comfort & performance for a wide variety of skier types. We stand behind our foot assessment and product selection for each individual.

We are dedicated to providing you with the best possible skiing experience. We assess each customer individually and stand behind our product selection for each rider’s ability level, budget, intended use, foot shape, and foot mobility. Even properly fit boots can cause discomfort during the break-in process, and everyone’s comfort level is unique. If we’re unable to make your feet happy within three fit sessions, we’ll happily exchange your boots for a new pair, or a gift card in the amount of your boot or evoFit program purchase.

There are millions of foot shapes in the world and only a few dozen boot shell shapes. A good bootfitter helps those two realities co-exist.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does evo suggest buying a footbed and socks with the purchase of boots?
A footbed functions as a “base” that connects your foot to the boot. Our fitting philosophy is based around “dynamic movement of the foot and ankle.” The footbeds we sell allow the foot to flex and rebound into its natural position. This support reduces foot fatigue and keeps your feet in a consistent position, allowing us to shape the ski boot to the shape of the skier’s foot for a true custom, performance fit.

Ensuring each skier is in a thin sock (Light, Ultralight, or Compression) means the evo Bootfitter is taking a key step towards ensuring the ideal functioning environment for the skier’s foot, ankle, and leg in the boot. Socks with thicker padding or that fit improperly can bunch and cause pain points that can be easily avoided.
What is included with the Life Guarantee?
The guarantee includes liner and shell modifications, or installation of boot accessories free-of-charge for the life of the boot*. Boot accessories are subject to program with pricing, installation is included. Boot accessories include: Boot bags, Booster Straps, boot heaters, buckles or parts.

The guarantee also includes a full refund or exchange if we cannot make your fit right within three initial fittings, or a gift card if boots were purchased elsewhere.
If my ski boot comes with a custom liner, is it eligible for the Life Guarantee?
Yes. If you buy an eligible boot along with the evoFit Season or Basic program, you can upgrade to the optional Life Guarantee which guarantees your fit for the life of the boot.*
*Click here for a full list of eligible boots.
What does my First Fitting include?
The First Fitting includes one service fitting and one return fitting 30 days from the date of purchase, or 12/1 if the ski season has not started.

Ex: Boot and evoFit package purchased on 11/15 with ski season starting on 11/22 = One fit session and one return session by 12/22.
What is the “Life of the Boot?”
The normal life of a ski boot can be defined as the safe, functional life of a boot. Examples of end of life products are worn, non-compliant soles, cracked, brittle or warped plastic, boots with broken or missing parts that are unrepairable or unreplaceable, and/or if you're significant other no longer allows them inside the house due to the noxious odors.
Can I opt into the Life Guarantee upgrade for Season & Basic programs after skiing in my boots?
Yes. The upgrade window mirrors the First Fitting window: 30 days from date of purchase or 12/1 if the season has not started.
What bootwork is included in the Life Guarantee and First Fitting?
All boot services, such as: Boot punching and grinding, liner molding, footbed posting, accessory installs and additional fitting materials.
Does evo charge for assessing the fit of your boots?
There is no fee for assessing your feet if you are buying your boots from evo.

evo has a $25 fit assessment fee for boots bought at another retailer or 3rd party. The $25 fit assessment cost is deducted from the purchase of boot services, new boots, or boot accessories.
Is there anything else I should know about evoFit?
Any boots purchased after 4/1 each year will be eligible for the First Fitting through 12/30 of the same year.

Ex: Purchase made on 4/10/2018 has until 12/30/2018 to get their First Fitting completed.
Can I buy boots through the evo website and participate in the evoFit program?
Yes. Any boot purchased from evo is eligible for evoFit if the boot is assessed by one of evo’s Bootfitters in our Seattle, Portland, and Denver stores. To get an assessment, bring boots shipped to your house into our stores (box included) or use the “ship-to-store” option during checkout.
Can I buy boots from evo outside of the evoFit program?
Yes. However, boots bought without an evoFit program level will be exempt from our return policy if used. The evoFit program is designed to take the risk out of buying ski boots. If we cannot make your fit right within three fit sessions through the evoFit program, we will gladly exchange them for a new pair of boots and an evoFit package or refund your evoFit and boot purchase with a gift card.
