Product Info

The Yes. 420 Powderhull Snowboard takes the already rad design of the 420 and slams it through the third dimension. The result is a refined, more responsive waist width, a longer, grippier effective edge, and Powderhull base contouring which renders the board unsinkable in the deepest snow. Grab your goggles and your snorkel, you're gonna need them.

Product Details

Rocker Type

PowderHull + CamberThe 3D PowderHull starts with a base profile combining two distinct rocker lines that when blended together create a pronounced base concave in the nose and tail. At the nose, the concave draws air under the board - just as a concave spoon-nose does on long boards in the surf - causing list and flotation. As the snow moves across the base, it releases off the tail and the exaggerated rocker line along the center, causing the tail to drop downward.

Flex

Flex Rating8 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff)

Shape

Directional WeirdThis is all about surface area displacement to create float and stability. The shorter length and bigger surface area provides a tighter radius that facilitates tight forest powder runs.

Radial RadiusWhen basics are good. A radial edge is the classic snowboard, where you have the radius that draws a single circle. It’s the most basic way to turn, it will allow you to carve but you are limited in the variations of turns you can make.

Core

Weightless CoreThe Weightless Core strikes a critical balance between light weight and strength. Using a lower density species of Poplar in areas that are not as structured and Paulownia in the areas that are, Yes. was able to shave precious weight. This helps the board not only float, but "feel" floaty.

Laminates

Triaxal Glass

Base

Sintered TrueTrue Sintered bases are harder and more expensive than extruded, and can be faster for those that ride aggressively.

Binding Compatibility

2 x 4 Inserts
