Their high waist cut sits on your hips and stretch fabric moves as you do, so your pants won't fall down or restrict the shred. Teflon Ecoelite™ PFC Free DWR sheds water while a waterproof-breathable 20k/20k membrane makes them very weatherproof. Plus a jacket-to-pant interface has 3 attachment points that help keep the snow where it should be: outside.
