A more forgiving version of the new Backland XTD meant for less aggressive skiers and mellower descents, the Atomic Backland XTD 100 GW Alpine Touring Ski Boots are built with a shell of True Flex polyurethane and a polyurethane cuff rather than polyamide. Coming in at 1524 grams in a 26.5, the Backland XTD 100 is perfect for those whose vision of backcountry skiing involves a more laid-back approach, but still appreciate that grams do count. A GripWalk sole rather than ISO 9523 allows this boot to work with many alpine and hybrid bindings as well as pure tech bindings.

Fit
Last: 100mm – A comfortable medium volume last derived from Atomic's Hawx Prime boot, meant for all day comfort and then some.
Memory Fit – Advanced heat-fitting technology creates a fully personalized shell, cuff and liner in minutes. The key is Memolink, Atomic's special additive that improves the moldability and stretch of their plastics. Expansion can be up to 6mm forefoot width and up to 10mm ankle width, resulting in a permanent and complete anatomical fit in minutes. See your bootfitter for details.

Mimic Gold Tour Liner – With 3D ankle and heel retention and Dura Shield. Washable and breathable.
