The Maestrale RS boots have long been been best sellers in the touring class for good reason. Now with the introduction of the totally redesigned RS, there's even more reasons to love them. The new Scarpa Maestrale RS Alpine Touring Ski Boots are lighter, more powerful, and have better functionality than their predecessors, and that's saying a lot. Gone is the janky flip-over tongue and fragile hinges. The burly new walk lever is fully exposed for easier servicing. The fit is closer around the ankle and mid-foot for improved skiing response, and the shell is now Grilamid® LFT (carbon reinforced Grilamid®) for a superior stiffness-to-weight ratio and easier shell modification should you need the services of a bootfitter. The lower shell closure system distributes pressure evenly and loses the weight of one buckle.
