Burton loved its new splitboard so much, it couldn't wait until 2015 to release it. The Burton Family Tree Landlord Splitboard is an early-release jam-packed with technology that will have you feeling giddy on the backside of the mountain. The S-Rocker is directional and freeride focused so you get maximum speed, while the directional flex gives you some fun pop in the back and control in the front to make your descent loads of fun. The Superfly II wood core also helps give the Family Tree Landlord Splitboard some extra pop, and it is strong and lightweight, making it more manageable under your feet. Get the best before anyone else and take on the backcountry with the Burton Family Tree Landlord Splitboard.
Directional Flex – This versatile flex features increased pop in the tail and a more resilient nose that allows riders to easily maintain control and flow through all terrain and conditions.
Directional Shape – The classic, most versatile snowboard shape, designed to be ridden with a slightly longer nose than tail to concentrate pop in the tail while still giving you plenty of float, flow and control to rip any terrain or condition.
Pro-Tip™ – A tapered tip and tail thickness reduces swing weight for easier mobility
Balanced Freeride Geometry – Twin or directional? Balanced Freeride Geometry ends the debate with setback camber and sidecut that are centered on your stance to create a twin freestyle feel when riding flat base. On edge it turns tight and quick with the float and prowess expected from a directional deck.
Superfly II Wood Core – Stronger and lighter woods target specific areas of the core provide pop, strength, and reduced weight. Further optimized for float in our freeride focused boards, and strength in our park-focused boards.
Sintered Base – Provides scratch-resistance and lightening-fast speed
Die-Cut Base – Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
Dualzone™ EGD™ (Engineered Grain Direction) Construction – The wood grain is positioned along the toe and heel edges on two continuous zones, perpendicular to the rest of the wood core, for consistent edge-hold and added strength.
45 Degree Carbon Highlights Hi-Voltage Fiberglass
Channel M6 System – An exclusive Burton mounting system using a central spine for virtually endless binding adjustability. It's equipped with industry standard M6 hardware for enhanced connection to the board and further compatibility with all Burton bindings along with many others. The Channel M6 allows you to micro-adjust stance width, angle, and toe-to-heel centering with ease while at the same time dispersing energy for added rebound and snap.
