Based on Fix's Magnum bindings, the Fix Team Snowboard Bindings bring a bit of extra flavor from heavy hitters Chris Bradshaw and Joe Sexton. Regrind free construction keeps the nylon quality at the top of the game, with Fix using first shot nylon for consistency and performance from first chair to last call on closing day. Cast aluminum buckles are good for tens of thousands of clicks in and out while an intuitive forward lean adjustment makes it easy to dial in the right ride for each rider. Glass Fill Nylon Baseplate – The glass fill in Fix's baseplates and highbacks range from 8% to 24% depending on the model. Glass increases the stiffness of the binding and the general rule of thumb is that the less glass fill, the softer the binding will be.
Urethane Dampening Pad – Cushioning dampens vibrations, prevents board breakage, and makes for a silky smooth ride.
Embossed EVA Padding – The EVA padding is not too soft that it packs out and not too firm that it causes foot and leg fatigue when riding after a long day.

Intermediate to advanced skis and snowboards may be somewhat wider or stiffer than beginner-intermediate skis and snowboards, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Stiff The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
