By: Jack Mace: Watersports Buyer | May 4, 2022

When choosing how you’ll be pulled behind a wake boat, safety and performance are what the best wakeboard ropes bring to the table. Selecting the best wakeboard rope for your needs will set you up to land those tricks and maneuvers that could otherwise end up coming painfully short. No one needs to be out there getting injured because they’re using an inferior or improper rope for wakeboarding, when they should instead be having a blast shredding the wake.

New This Year:

While choosing a wakeboard rope and handle combo you have to sort through a number of factors including grip material, floatation features, handle size, and rope length and material. Thankfully there are endless options ensuring there is a combo out there for everyone, with an emphasis this year on increased grip, durability, and reliable rope feel. Hop in the water, grab the handle, and hold on. Here is a rundown of the best wakeboard rope and handle combos of 2022.

Jack Mace

I grew up on the north end of Lake Washington and was surrounded by watersports enthusiasts who all had an immense passion for any activity done on the water. My dad has also worked in the boating industry my whole life, so those two factors were the main building blocks that shaped my love for the industry from a young age.

After attending Western Washington University, I moved back to the Seattle area and worked as a sailing instructor for a number of years at my cousin’s rental shop on Lake Union before joining the evo family in 2012.

At evo, I started out on the customer service team and worked my way onto the merchandising team which gave me the opportunity to integrate my passion and love for the water into a career as the Watersports Buyer. I still reside in the Seattle area with my wife Katie and two sons, Wes and Carter.
