Volkl Attiva Tierra Skis + Bindings - Women's - Used 2009: Ladies, start your engines- The 2009 Volkl Attiva Tierra Ski is for serious all mountain woman skiers. Its sidecut of 118-76-104 determines the perfect blend for all-mountain carving & off-piste. For even more excitement they have included two layers of titanal to absorb vibration and give you more precise carving. Developed for women by women, the tip is moved forward further than unisex skis for easier turn initiation and smoother transitions through the fall line. The 20/20 core construction is 20% lighter and 20% softer than Volkl's unisex ski designs so the skis turn faster and easier on any run. Get down and dirty with experts-only style.
In the signature Extended Double Grip Construction, dual chambers extend from tip to tail, providing more support for the edges, and enabling the ideal distribution of pressure to the snow. enabling
A female-specific Lightweight Extended Sensorwood core is custom-milled with a blend of poplar, beech, and balsa strips in an upward direction for exceptional power transfer without heavy weight. Female-specific binding mount location provides optimal flex so you’ll feel extra stable and secure as you crank up your speed. This skis heart is lively, stable and retains lightness that save you from hours in the gym in a vain attempt to be able to flex them. The Volkl AttivaTierra also posseses fine reserves of grip tolerance and should prove a most versatile ski for the adventurous advanced skier.

The Volkl Attiva Tierra Skis are constructed with Volkl’s Bio-Logic system that focuses on flex, geometry, and stance: a slightly softer flex enhances the overall performance and comfort, while a narrower sidecut shape in the tail features a specific, progressive design that has a tighter radius in the front of the ski for easier turns and a longer turn radius in the back, and a more neutral stance created by raising the toe of the binding results in better balance between the muscles in the front and rear of the legs. Basically, this system ensures that you have the best possible ride with the least possible wear and tear on your body.
