Scott Sheela Skis + Bindings - Women's - Used 2009: Scott designed the Women’s Sheela Ski to be a women’s specific twintip for riding all kinds of terrain in a variety of conditions. In 2009 the Sheela took home Ski Magazine’s Gold Medal and Skiing Magazine’s Best In Test. Scott gave this ski a lightweight core laminate to reduce swing weight and increase agility. A dual radius sidecut makes the Sheela equally suited to long or short turns. Scott’s Pro Tip technology controls tip deflection and provides more predictable, consistent tip behavior during turns.

Shape
Traditional skis have a fixed radius that determines the length of every turn. Scott skis combine two radii (dual radius) to create the sidecut or “shape” of the ski. By incorporating the Dual Radius concept, the ski can turn when you want it to turn, the result is a more versatile ski which is not confined to one type of skiing or terrain. By incorporating a progressive tip height radius, Scott skis simply track better than the competition. Scott’s Pro-Tip produces a more consistent ski flex and predictable turns.
