Alpine Tip & Tail Rocker – Variable edge length in tip and tail areas, the rocker height is minimal. Makes the ski turn-friendly and allows for a stiffer flex setup. A longer ski can be selected.

Speedwall Multilayer Woodcore – The most modern, high-performance sidewall/woodcore combination in the history of skiing. Volkl merged the two components into a unique element referred to as Perfect Setup philosophy. The sidewall is laminated to extremely stable layers of wood on the sides of the sandwich core. In combination with a more flexible, lighter wood built into the center of the sandwich core construction provides numerous advantages: hardwood adjacent to the sidewall has high power transmission and improves grip while supporting the edge against external forces. The low weight softwood middle brings more agility and maneuverability and reduces overall ski weight.

Power Construction – Construction utilizes traditional vertical sidewalls and a torsion box internal layup. Used in racing skis as well as all the freeskiing models, this versatile, proven construction provides tremendous grip, stability, and a smooth ride.

Powered by Titanium – A Titanal layer just under the topskin delivers dampness and power at speed.

rMotion2 – Developed in coordination with Marker especially for the Code Speedwall and the Racetiger Speedwall. This is a complete system whose new, significantly lighter race plate ensures optimal flex and grip. The prime driver behind this is the 20% wider construction, which allows for significantly improved transfer of power and control. The new toe piece also ensures greater stability, while the heel mechanism provides better mounting convenience.

UVO Technology – UVO (Ultimate Vibration Object) technology uses a small device attached near the tip of the ski to eliminate vibrations encountered at higher speeds and on uneven snow surfaces. It's the first application of this type to effectively counter vibration originating from any direction, and was first used in Völkl race skis.
