The Blizzard Black Pearl 97 Skis + Salomon Warden 11 Demo Ski Bindings are one of the seven wonders of the ski industry. They're strong, precise, and stable enough to satisfy the best skiers on the mountain, including several of our testers who identify as male and consider themselves strong skiers. Rocker Camber Rocker – Ski profile with rocker at the tip and tail, camber in the middle. Reducing the pressure on the edge at the tip and tail makes the ski even easier to handle and increases flotation on powder snow. The camber guarantees great grip on packed snow.

W.S.D. (Woman Specific Design) Shape Concept – Traditional wide frontside sidecut with effortless radius. Forward mounting position for easy turn initiation.

TrueBlend Wood Core – TrueBlend is wood core technology is made of a blend of two different woods. Using pieces of specifically positioned high density (stiff) wood makes the core strong in the middle for stability and edge grip and then progressively softer to the tip and tail for effortless turn initiation and release. The result is a very smooth and balanced ski that delivers a feeling of confidence and control.
W.S.D. Carbon Flipcore Technology – The famed Blizzard Flipcore process matches the core contour with the intended rocker profile so core and laminates act in harmony and don't require re-shaping in the mold.

Rocker/Camber/Rocker Rocker/Camber/Rocker skis have the playfulness and float of a rockered ski as well as the added edge hold of a cambered ski. The contact points on skis with this profile are closer towards the middle of the ski than a fully cambered ski, but still not underfoot. The cambered midsection provides a longer effective edge on hardpack, increasing edge hold and stability, while the rockered tip and tail provide floatation in deeper snow and allow the ski to initiate and release from turns easier.
