Description
The Atomic Maverick 88 TI Skis + Atomic Strive R 13 GW Demo Bindings were developed after an extensive testing program in North America which targeted the type of skiing North American skiers got after (ie, not just "faux racing" on groomers). They came up with the Maverick lineup in response to testers who wanted more stability at speed and better performance in fresh and cut up snow, and they came up with a winner. Not only do the Maverick 88 TI's feel more solid and planted on firm snow, they yield better float and directional confidence off-piste. The new Flow Profile is a mashup of previous Atomic technologies like the HRZN Tech Tip plus deeper sidecuts and longer rocker profiles, and the new OMatic cores are a further evolution of Atomic's poplar cores but more finely tuned to individual skier weights and ski lengths.

HRZN Tech Tip – HRZN Tech adds 10% more surface area at your ski tips. For awesome flotation in powder plus less tip deflection and better tracking through chop.

Rocker/Camber/Rocker Rocker/Camber/Rocker skis have the playfulness and float of a rockered ski as well as the added edge hold of a cambered ski. The contact points on skis with this profile are closer towards the middle of the ski than a fully cambered ski, but still not underfoot. The cambered midsection provides a longer effective edge on hardpack, increasing edge hold and stability, while the rockered tip and tail provide floatation in deeper snow and allow the ski to initiate and release from turns easier.
