Good enough for Helen Schettini? Hel Yes!!! Overhauled for this season, the Yes. Hel Yes Snowboard is a directional freeride slayer with an upgraded Poplar + Bamboo core to simultaneously reduce weight and improve the board's overall responsiveness. The Hel Yes' Directional Twin shape works hand-in-hand with the UnderBite edges to create a board that's not only versatile but also extremely reliable when it comes to trusting the edgehold as you rip past the rest of your snowboard sorority sistahs!
CamRock – Yes's CamRock camber rocker blend places camber between your bindings, camber at the tail and rocker at the nose. Having areas of variable rocker outside of your stance with camber underfoot gives you the response, stability, pop, playfulness you desire for the park, plus increased floatation and turning abilities in deep snow.
Flex Rating – 3 (1 Soft - 5 Stiff)
Directional Twin – Having a directional twin shape snowboard is ideal for riders who want to cruise the entire mountain. The nose is just a tad longer than the tail. The design is versatile enough for freestyle, with improved floatation and faster turning in the powder.
Radial Sidecut
2X Poplar Impact Blocks Core – The 2x Poplar/ Beech wood core mixes 2 species of ultra-durable Poplar. This dynamic combination core is very low-density, lightweight and durable so you have a lightweight board that is still durable, poppy and fun.
Biax – Biax laminate consists of fiberglass that is braided in two directions. The fibers are braided vertically at 90 degrees. This ensures a torsional flex that is more evenly distributed throughout the snowboard. For you, this translates to a snowboard that is easy to handle and jib friendly.
Triax – Triax laminate consists of fiberglass that is braided in three directions. Meaning it gives the snowboard an asymmetrical flex with lengthwise stiffness. For you, this delivers a snowboard that has tons of pitch when jumping.
Sintered 2000 – Sintered bases are super fast. Polyethylene pellets are forced together under extremely high pressure. The result is a singular piece of connected pellets with tiny pores across the entire base. Sintered bases absorb hot wax really well.
Die-Cut Base – Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
Overbite Edges – There are a lot of variations on this theme out there. Through trial and error Yes has found that locating a slight "bump-out" running parallel to the sidecut at each of the binding areas breaks up the edge just enough to increase grip in icy conditions. The bumps are subtle and work without feeling grabby, slowing you down, or being a nightmare to tune.
