StepChild Chi Borg Rocker Snowboard 2010: The new series in the StepChild line this year-the all new reverse camber 2010 StepChild Chi Borg Rocker Snowboard. This Twin snowboard comes with a reverse Kicker I core and 6mm of reverse camber/rocker. The StepChild Chi Borg Rocker Snowboard also features a real buttery feel and it rides great for parks, jibs as well as powder. Much like the Jib Stick, the 2010 StepChild Chi Borg Rocker Snowboard is pre flexed going into the turns while ollies and nollies easily roll off the tip and tail for a smooth pop.

Twin – This snowboard is a true twin with a centered stance and sidecut. The tip and tail are identical.
Construction and Core
Kicker I Core: Poplar Wood Core. Tip-to-tail fully computerized milled and profiled poplar core gives a smooth consistent flex distribution (pattern).
Rocker 6mm: The board is pressed to resemble the bottom of a rocking chair. The rocker gives the board an easy riding feel as it is “pre flexed” going into turns. It works well for parks, jibs as well as powder

Rocker A rocker board side profile is the opposite of a camber board, with a smooth downward curvature to it and less edge contact length when the board is weighted. Rocker boards float well in powder and pivot more easily underfoot. They also tend to be less “hooky” at both tip and tail and better for landing spin maneuvers when you don’t quite have enough rotation.
