Rocker Type
EC2 BTX – The best of two worlds come together with EC2. Roxy started with Banana (reverse camber) between the bindings, added elliptical camber on the tip and tail, and mixed in the magic ingredient, Magne-Traction. Banana adds more pop and quick edge-to-edge transfer. Elliptical camber is sloped like angel wings (not radial), providing just the right amount of camber for grip and flow. It's the ultimate blend for all-mountain riding.
Flex
Flex 5 – Medium flex handles everything from corduroy, powder, to big mountain obstacles. It's built for riders who enjoy plentiful response but still need a forgiving board for progressing skills.
Shape
True Twin – The nose and tail are symmetrical, with equal length and width from the center of the board. The board rides equally amazing both regular and switch, and excels all over the mountain and park.
Core
Full Heart Wood – Roxy's full-heart wood core is made with a combination of light timbers that are extremely strong, fast growing and sustainable. Certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.
Laminates
Triaxial – Fiberglass laid in three different directions to enhance tortion and pop.
Sidewalls
UHMW Sidewalls – Ultra High Molecular Weight exterior sidewalls made from soy-based elastomer are laminated to five internal wood layers for totally bombproof sidewalls.
Base
Sintered 9900 – Ultra-durable and highly porous for increased wax absorption and lightening fast speed
Die-Cut Base – Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
Edges
Magne-Traction – Get a grip with the edge hold and control that you deserve. Magne-traction works like a bread knife, cutting more efficiently than a straight edge because of the serration. Apply this idea to the snow. The wavy Magne-traction edges enable the board to grip and hold better in all conditions.

Splitboarding A splitboard snowboard is built specifically for the backcountry rider. Splitboards are designed to break down into two separate halves for touring and uphill travel (with climbing skins). Special bindings are required as well. Once you've reached the top of the terrain feature, you reconnect your splitboard for the ride back downhill. However, it's important to note that you will need appropriate backcountry tools, knowledge of the backcountry, weather and snow conditions and climbing skins to safely take advantage of the freedom of a splitboard.
