The Rome Artifact Snowboard has been around since day one, exemplifying what a park board should be and just getting better with time. Whether you're looking to ollie, stomp or butter, this board will be the go-to tool to make it all happen. Its Stay Positive Camber keeps you in control as you tear up the terrain. With Glass Single Barrel HotRods in it's center, this board can withstand tough treatment while also staying snappy and full of pop. The Rome Artifact Snowboard is part relic from an earlier time and part modern, well-crafted design.
Stay Positive Camber – Rome innovated the concept behind this camber back in 2010 and ran it for several years in the Anthem SS-- possibly a bit ahead of its time given the anti-camber craze of those times. This design features positive camber through nearly all of the running length of the board. The result is nearly all the responsiveness of positive camber, but with smoother turn initiation and a touch more float in powder. Great for all-mountain responsive snowboarding.
Response Rating – 6 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff)
True Twin – A true twin snowboard shape is ideal for riders who want to ride switch and do some tricks. The nose and tail are identical and the flex is evenly distributed throughout the entirety of the board. True twins are perfectly symmetrical.
Skatecore Profiling – To give some of Rome's park boards the feel of turning a pair of skate trucks, Rome slightly thins the core profile between the feet and increases core thickness under the bindings. The result is a board that turns like a skate deck, but locks into tricks and pops like snowboard.
Stomp Core Matrix – Zones of high-density wood are integrated into a body of responsive wood for added strength with pop.
HotRods | Glass Single Barrel – A single rod in the centerline, this pattern adds ollie pop while letting the rest of the board flex normally.
StraightBiax Laminate – For a fun, mellow feel this laminate contains 90 degree fibers
Rebound Sidewalls – For some of Rome's park boards that take a lot of impact on features, we've developed a sidewall compound that is more elastic than traditional sidewalls. So you can land disaster more times without damaging your board.
Impact Base – Rome's high-density design that stands up to the abuse of park and street snowboarding.
