We're not talking Miller Lite here; the 2015 Ride Highlife UL Snowboard has plenty of substance in an ultra-light package. This deck is filled to the brim with high end features, like a super poppy Carbon Array 5™ Laminate, extra damp Silencer 5™ Core, and a dangerously fast UL Base. Prepare to bring the ruckus to big mountain riding with the Ride Highlife UL.
Hybrid All Mountain – Featuring rocker in the nose and a level micro-camber zone extending under the feet and through the tail.
Feel-O-Meter: 7 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) – This is a stiffer, responsive flex designed for hard chargers who take on the the entire mountain. Ride's Feel-O-Meter rating is adjusted year to year to align with current industry standards. A board unchanged from last year may receive a new feel number this year if the industry scale shifts.
Directional – The classic, most versatile snowboard shape, designed to be ridden with a slightly longer nose than tail to concentrate pop in the tail while still giving you plenty of float, flow and control to rip any terrain or condition.
UL Core – Built to smooth the ride and lighten the load. The UL Core has tip-to-tail full thickness silencer stringers, placed strategically within the wood core for high strength and less weight.
Silencer 5™ Core – Purifies the response from Ride's Pop Glass, Carbon Arrays and linear reinforcements by filtering out vibration for a super smoothed-out snappy core.
Pop Rods® – More pop and smoother landings without added stiffness
Carbon Array 5™ Laminate – This power distribution technology provides total board control in every stance location with widespread carbon stringers placed at the binding zone to gather input from any stance width and pressure angles. Rider input is then channeled to the opposing contact point for maximum board control.
Pop Glass – 90° Carbon Fibers stitched in the glass provide extra pop, without adding extra stiffness. Ride's unique glass designs are flatter and more consistent; therefore they are stronger with no gaps or stretching as can be found in woven glass.
Popwalls™ Sidewall – The totally unique sidewall combines layers of Slimewalls® material and carbon strategically placed at the inserts out to the contact points in the tip and tail on a twin, and the back inserts to the contact points in the tail on a directional board. This exclusive tech enhances the charging riders' experience as Ride has moved the carbon pop construction to the outside edge for better stability and enhanced response.
UL Base – Light and fast - pretty much the lightest base on the the market
Die-Cut Base – Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
UL Steel – Same Rockwell hardness, built thinner and ultra light, but not lacking the die-hard Ride durability
