The Nitro Beast Snowboard was designed in collaboration with four of the best freestyle snowboarders in the world, and all four of them use it as their pro model for everything from video parts to Olympic super park runs. It's a classic park deck shape with true camber, a park specific flex pattern, and a single radius sidecut, but the construction has been majorly beefed up to provide maximum power and stompability. The extra snappy poplar and beech core is reinforced with Kevlar impact panels and carbon stringers to make the board stiffer and more bomber to keep up with Marcus, Eero, Torgier, and Sven's rowdy pro-level antics.

Ballistic Impact Panels – Kevlar© is used in bulletproof vests and body armor to protect your core. Nitro uses it in strategic places around the binding-to-board interface to protect the construction from impacts during hard landings.
Diamond Band – Carbon reinforcement fibers are ultra strong yet lightweight. Tip-to-tail stringers transfer rider's input to help you drive your board and stay in control.

Sintered Speed Formula II Base – Rocket science, put to work! A nanotech wax formula deeply infused into the sintered base material makes the base surface lightning fast in all snow conditions. With it's unique edge profile and an impact resistance of more than 200% compared to a standard edge, the Rail Killer Edge is twice as thick and twice as strong. Stiff The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
