Inspired by both laminated skate decks and K2’s focus on Eco Conscious Construction, the new BamBooyah™ core makes its’ entrance. The key distinguishing factor is a layered, skate-inspired ply laminate. The core is then wrapped in fiberglass for strength and durability, rendering it indestructible. This construction reduces ecological impact through Bamboo’s fast growing properties as well as its ability to be grown without pesticides, artificial irrigation, or large-scale environmental degradation

Hybritaper™ tapers out the core at the tip and tail to reduce the swing weight. K2 blended the tips from a cap into a thin sandwich removing material where you don’t need it.

4000 Sintered base is the fastest natural base material available. Exceptionally durable, absorbs wax faster and retains wax longer.
