Looking for a board optimized to help you master the basics and keep on progressing? Look no further than the Burton Ripcord Snowboard. Made with Burton's Easy Rider convex base and rounded edges, these design elements create a board that won't catch an edge and help you link your turns. Flat Top baseline encourages a fluid ride, with forgiving characteristics that cater to all ability levels and riding styles. The Burton Ripcord Snowboard's soft, directional flex and shape are the perfect choice for beginners to experienced riders that prefer a more playful board.
Flat Top with Easy Rider – Flat zones that extend just past the bindings create a platform that is easy to balance on and learn board control. A convex base combined with early rising, mellow rocker at the tip and tail create a catch-free, forgiving and user-friendly ride.
Directional Flex – This flex features increased pop in the tail and a resilient nose that allows riders to easily maintain control through all terrain and conditions.
Soft and Playful – At cruising speed, this snowboard is forgiving, playful, and great for progressing. Riders of all ability levels will appreciate the many easy-riding characteristics of a soft snowboard.
Directional [5MM Taper] – A tapered directional shape means the nose is wider than the tail, and the sidecuts are not symmetrical. This combo promotes smooth and forgiving turns, stability - even at high speeds - and effortless float in deeper snow.
Easy Rider – A slightly convex base shape combined with soft flex and an aggressive edge bevel for catch-free easy learning.
FSC™ Certified Fly® 900G Core – Burton's classic tip-to-tail wood core. Without sacrificing the flex, pop or strength, the 900G utilizes two wood species to create an extremely lightweight board.
Squeezebox Low – Burton's Squeezebox improves your boards performance by balancing thicker more powerful core sections in with thinner more flexible sections. Meaning you get enhanced board connectivity, response and predictability.
Biax™ Fiberglass – Gives the board a jib and park friendly feel by softening the torsional flex.
Extruded – Speed, strength and pop in a base that requires little maintenance.
Die-Cut Base – Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
Easy Rider Edge Tune – Engineered for riders starting out. Burton's Easy Rider Edge Tune makes for a catch-free and forgiving ride by rounding out the edges.
The Channel™ – Stronger, faster, easier, and more adjustable - The Channel™ gives you ultimate control of your stance and your board in a design compatible with all major binding companies (not just Burton’s).
