Burton Lip Stick Limited Flying V Rocker Snowboard - Women's 2011: For limited production, the Burton Lip Stick Flying V Rocker Snowboard, already a major hit in women’s snowboarding around the world, features the work of renowned French artist Francoise Nielly. The board artwork will catch your attention, but the feel of the board on snow will capture your heart. Built with Flying V™ technology giving you the snappy suspension of camber with the catch-free float of rocker, and Super Fly® Core technology that is loaded with pop, the Burton Lip Stick Limited Flying V Rocker Snowboard is far more than just a fun ride.
Flex Rating: 4 (1 Soft – 10 Stiff)
Directional flex, the camber is an advocate of powerful turns and poppy precision, camber speaks to the core values of board design. Acting like a suspension, camber creates a lively ride capable of slicing and stomping the entire mountain. Triax fiberglass provides versatile flex and response for everything from mini to mega shred.
Super Fly® Core technology is lightened up and loaded with pop. It is a sandwich, yum, of hard and soft woods that is lighter in weight and has better snap and response.
The wood grain in Dualzone EGD is positions along the toe and heel edges, perpendicular to the rest of the wood core, for superior edge hold and added strength.
The Negative Core profile is the team favorite. Thinner sections of core between the bindings soften flex and torsion for a more playful feel and added foot control that’s perfect for everything from park to pow.
Infinite Ride™ technology allows the board to maintain its flex, pop and feel from the first day forward, season after season.
Taking V-Rocker to the next level, Flying V™ is a blend of camber and rocker performance, offering the best of both worlds. Rocker overall, including between and outside your feet, enhances the playfulness and float through pow. Subtle camber zones are underfoot, combined with Frostbite Edges, EGD and The Channel for a focus on edge-control that result in crisp, snap, added pop and power through turns.
The Channel (M6) focuses power through a central connection that evenly distributes energy for added rebound and snap. The M6 means that Burton is using a standardized hardware size that improves upon performance and ease-of-use because it allow for compatibility with all Burton bindings
The Twin Shape is perfectly symmetrical for a balanced ride that’s equally versatile when ridden regular or switch. Do any trick in the book, jib, spin, stomp, with greater balance of freestyle mobility and stability.
Grip & Rip Edge Tune combines with Frostbite Edges where the edges beneath your bindings extend out slightly for tremendous edge-hold on hard, icy conditions.
Powerful when you need them, playful when you don’t, Frostbite Edges are hungry for hard-pack while remaining ever forgiving in softer conditions. Aggressive rippers take note: 10:45’s extra-meaty, dual angle geometry results in bomber impact absorption.
The Burton Lip Stick Limited Flying V Rocker Snowboards shape is made even more catch-free with the addition of Scoop shaping at the tip and tail. With contact points disengaged thanks to rocker and edges turned up by the Scoop, pioneering park riders will enjoy more bark and less bite than ever before.
The Sintered base is durable and highly porous, so you get added durability and superior wax absorption for greater overall glide.
