Get right to the good times with Burton’s new EZ V Rocker. Catch-free and forgiving, rocker combines with the effortless edge control off a slightly tapered shape for more float, fun and all-around easiness regardless of terrain or condition. The twin flex is perfectly symmetrical from tip to tail for a balanced ride that’s equally versatile regular or switch, frontside or backside. Biax fiberglass features a jib-friendly, low-torsional flex and forgiving, park friendly feel.
Construction and Core
The Fly Core is the classic tip to tail wood core, consistently improved upon in terms of flex, feel, pop, and strength. The negative profile is the team favorite: thinner sections of core between the bindings soften flex and torsion for a more playful feel and added foot control that’s perfect for everything from park to pow.
Base
The extruded base gives you speed, strength, and graphical pop. Pass your friends without even waxing.
Sidewalls and Edges
Cruise control edge tune combines with rocker to help new riders progress, and good riders get even better. Grip & Rip tune edges are the standard for slicing and dicing the entire mountain. A 28° profile creates a classic, consistent edge hold that cuts like a knife.

Rocker A rocker board side profile is the opposite of a camber board, with a smooth downward curvature to it and less edge contact length when the board is weighted. Rocker boards float well in powder and pivot more easily underfoot. They also tend to be less “hooky” at both tip and tail and better for landing spin maneuvers when you don’t quite have enough rotation.
