Product Details

Rocker Type

CamberWhen talking about powerful turns and poppy precision, camber speaks to the core values of board design. Offering snappy energy for turn initiation and tricks, camber distributes weight evenly over the entire length of the board allowing for smooth, continuous control from tip to tail.

Flex

Flex Rating (1 Soft - 10 Stiff)5, A medium flex for easy turning and forgiving freestyle moves

DirectionalIncreased stiffness in the tail with a more flexible tip for easy float and better control in all terrain and snow conditions

Infinite Ride™This Burton-exclusive technology allows for maximized pop and strength by overbuilding the board, then putting it in a machine that breaks in the board for you. Whether you choose to ride Springloaded, Rocker, or Camber, rest assured that with Infinite Ride™ your board will maintain its flex, pop and feel from the first day forward, season after season.

Shape

Pro-Tip™A tapered tip and tail thickness reduces swing weight for easier mobility.

Sidecut

Twin-LikeWhether riding regular or switch, get the freestyle feel of a twin shape with improved float and control through variable terrain and conditions.

Core

Super Fly® CoreLightened up and loaded with pop, this vertical sandwich of hard and soft woods saves weight and improves snap and response.

SqueezeboxThis improves performance through the balance of thicker, more powerful core sections with thinner, more flexible sections. Rider energy is transferred outward from where it originates beneath the feet, energizing the tip and tail while making the board more stable and easily manipulated.

Dual Zone™ EGD™Engineered Grain Direction manipulates the angles and direction of wood grains in the core for superior edge-hold, response, and durability.

Laminates

Triax™ FiberglassVersatile flex and response for everything from mini to mega shred

Jumper Cables Hi-VoltageUltra-light carbon stringers radiate energy outward from your feet towards the tip and tail. The result is greater pop and snap when powering through turns without sacrificing the board’s overall playful feel. For maximum flight, Jumper Cables Hi-Voltage use carbonated rods for ultra-electrified pop and performance.

Base

SinteredFast and durable base that holds wax well, 20% recycled content

Frostbite EdgesEdges beneath your bindings extend out slightly for tremendous edgehold on hard, icy conditions. Powerful when you need them, playful when you don’t, Frostbite Edges are hungry for hard-pack while remaining forgiving in softer conditions.

Comments about Burton Aftermath Snowboard 2013:

Really nice carving!! You can feel how the edges hold on the ice.
I went up to 80km/h (GPS) and could go even faster.
    Switch riding is good.
A bit stiff to do butters but possible to play around.
It made me enjoy and learn so much the last season. Really happy with it.

Comments about Burton Aftermath Snowboard 2013:

I bought a 2012 Burton Blunt 158 last year expecting it to be like my previous one (2009) which was perfect. Tore that board up after one 6 day mountain adventure. The burton boards these days are extremely soft and ptex damages easily. Bought this board because of it's stiffness and I'm expecting it to make it through the season. It has met my standards so far and appears well build and solid.
