Flex rating: 5.5 (1 Soft-10 Stiff) The FREERIDE TBT shape has the flat part extended further back, with complimentary setback for the kind of riding where you work that back leg. Bataleon also put more uplift in the nose than in the tail to enhance floating on powder and deep hard turns.
Construction and Core
The Good Wood Core combines with Poplar Beech and has straight hardwood enforcements along the sidewalls. Tri-ax laminates over the wood core with Bi-ax under the core creates an easy flex with lots of feel.
Base
The Synthduded 2555 base is a bit faster than the extruded version and is easy to fix.
Sidewalls and Edges
All Bataleon boards leave the factory with a hand tuned custom stone grind finish.
