Flex Rating: (1stiff – 10 soft) 8-9-8 very soft and flexible. (Note: Bataleon operates of a flex rating, not measured by stiffness. A more flexible board will have a higher number rating associated with it.)
The Bataleon Disaster Snowboard 2012 features Jib TBT™. Wait… what does that mean? Jib Triple Base Tech starts the rocking chair uplift under your feet for a super loose effect, while an extra wide center base stabilizes your slides and presses. Throw in the stable flex and this board is a jib and urban rider’s dream.
Construction and Core
Toughcore is made with pressure bonded wood composite - very hard to break yet super flexible. This core was specifically designed to deliver soft wood flex without sacrificing strength.
The Bi-ax Laminate over and under the wood core creates an easy flex with perfect feel
Wide base pattern; 4x4/ 16 insert pack allows for a wider range great for rocking that extra wide stance
