Old-School meets new-school in this jib-fiend deck. The Arbor Relapse Snowboard blends the familiar camber shape of the 80's with a softer flex and their sassy technology for mega-pressing park boards. The 100% Poplar Wood Core provides you with a heavenly predictability, stability, and ability to stomp your landings. It's easy to prevent washouts and keep the Relapse controlled and cruising even when conditions are sketchy. The olden days of snowboarding had it right all along, and you'll see for yourself when you shred with the Arbor Relapse Snowboard.
True Camber – Traditional camber is a mellow protuberant base shape that originates from the contact points at the tip and tail and then peaks at the midpoint. When you’re snowboarding, the arch flattens from your weight's downward pressure. In translation, you will turn nimbly from the continuous edge-to-snow contact and have tons of preloaded pop
Flex Rating: 4 (1 Soft – 10 Stiff) – This snowboard has a soft-medium flex rating which is perfect for riders who don’t want to be held back in the park or powder. Soft-medium flex boards’ are responsive, easy to turn, playful and forgiving. This snowboard will love the rails, hot-park laps but never turns down fresh snow
True Twin – A true twin snowboard shape is ideal for riders who want to ride switch and do some tricks. The nose and tail are identical and the flex is evenly distributed throughout the entirety of the board. True twins are perfectly symmetrical.
Poplar Wood Core – Poplar wood cores are durable and lightweight. Snowboards made with Poplar are known to have a consistent and evenly distributed flex throughout.
Biax – Biax laminate consists of fiberglass that is braided in two directions. The fibers are braided vertically at 90 degrees. This ensures a torsional flex that is more evenly distributed throughout the snowboard. For you, this translates to a snowboard that is easy to handle and jib friendly.
360-Degree Full Wrap Sidewalls – Durability and impact resistance
Die-Cut Base – Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
Extruded Base – Polyethylene pellets are melted down in extreme heat then forced together under a high pressure machine. The end result is a strong, solid, and smooth base that is easy to maintain, non-porous and extremely durable.
Power Ply Top – Arbor's Power Ply Top has performance enhancing real wood. The protective film is laminated to the power ply tops and contains 30% bio-plastic and eliminates the need for toxic clear coats.
