Arbor A-Frame Snowboard 2011 – A big-mountain gun for riders who want superior on-edge performance, the Arbor A-Frame Snowboard delivers lock-n-hold deeply carved lines, find powerful control in the steeps and amazing stability at speed, and the new bamboo power rails deliver improved return for a ride built for pure bliss.
This big mountain board features a medium to stiff flex and a directional twin shape that encourages riders to equalize their stance and more effectively activate the grip-tech contact points and street rocker design, with some added nose for riding deeper snow.
The Shaman Core is Arbor’s lightest core built with a 50/50 blend of paulownia and poplar wood that delivers ultra lightweight performance. Paulownia wood’s tensile strength is similar to traditional wood core materials, which allows maximum weight reduction without reducing durability, and the sustainably sourced poplar is then added for more compression strength. The inlaid wood Power Ply works like a third layer of fiberglass: resin locks the dense natural fibers in place during construction, creating a composite layer that structurally enhances the board for added return and improved durability while allowing for important weight reduction.
The Rocket Base is a higher molecular weight, wax infused, sintered base that provides unmatched durability and speed.
Bamboo Power Rails deliver amazing landing and impact durability, unmatched edge performance, and powerful return off your rails
Traditional camber construction for added edge hold on hardpack and stability at high speeds
