In addition to new aesthetics on the outside of the boot, there is a new external skeleton in the back of the boot promising you additional support without sacrificing flexibility. Brand-new on the DC Ghost—and all DC’s 2008 lace-ups—are double lace loops, giving you two lacing points at the fifth eyelet for a customized fit as well as an additional point to tighten down your boot as it breaks in. Simply put: long-lasting support. Loaded with high-tech construction features, the sole of the DC Ghost is designed for maximum traction in snow, while CTR technology offers cat-like grip when the temperature dips. 3D Tongue — Ergonomic one-piece construction eliminates pinch points and hot spots for ultimate comfort.
Alpha Liner — The ultimate performance snowboard boot liner. By adding Memory Foam to the ankle and footbed DC provides a fit that’s dialed into each rider’s unique anatomical features. A 3D Molded J Bard is integrated to give structure to the Memory Foam and eliminate heel lift. The Alpha Liner also features a removable tongue stiffener, Support Beams for progressive flex, Directional Fiber Lining in the heel area, and Outlast lining to regulate the foot’s temperature and keep you comfortable.
Injection EVA Midsole — DC’s newest outsole, approximately 40% lighter than the average. DC kept all the important traction and supportive elements while eliminating all the extra non-essential weight, giving you the lightest and most functional outsole on the market.
