Responsive – Stiffer flex bindings are geared more towards advanced riders looking for more precision control at high speeds, whether it be in the park, pipe or anywhere on the mountain.
Baseplate
ShadowFit Baseplate | 45% Composite – This ultralight baseplate gives you all the benefits of polyamide material but is much more responsive. Designed with a unique, flexible heel loop and a fully anatomical fit coupled with the strength of Kevlar Quickwire. The result is a high-performing, lightweight binding that encourages a more natural board flex.
Kevlar Quickwire – For maximum support and quick transmission of any movement.
SCS + Full EVA Padding – SCS and full EVA padding provide the highest level of shock absorption and precise energy transmission.
Canted Footbed – Instantly add pop, power and extra edge control to your riding with 2.5° canted footbeds. Easy on the knees and no loss of board-feel.

Defender Highback – Asymmetrical highback features a dynamic construction and ergonomical design to provide ultimate transmission and comfort.

In skis and snowboards, you'll often find layers of metal, carbon or other stringers for rigidity and power, while advanced to expert level boots and bindings are usually on the stiffer side of the spectrum for rebound and precision steering.

Medium The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
