The Rome Vice Snowboard Bindings are made to support Intermediate riders and freestyle fiends through it all. An AsymWrap platform gives them a versatile surfy feel, while a medium flexing highback and ProGrip Toe Straps provide support and flex to get you over the rollers instead of stuck on top of them. Baseplate
AsymWrap Platform – Now 20% lighter than before and with increased durability thanks to a new baseplate design and updated coring. The AsymWrap platform is designed to provide a surfy board feel with a minimal footprint.
Adjustable Baseplate – Created to help fit a wider range of boot models and sizes.
Baseplate Materials – 70% Nylon / 30% Glass
Highback
Highback Rotation – Designed so riders can adjust their highbacks to mirror the angle of their heelside edge for maximum power transfer.
Straps
ProGrip Toe Strap – Powered by AuxTech™, this innovative network of small hinges provides unmatched hold and locked-in grip.
AuxTech – Geometric patterns that become thicker perpendicularly when stretched. Think of them as a network of tiny hinges that, when pressure is applied, actually expand and open. This creates a more direct connection to the boot.
PivotMount – 4 different positions of ankle strap placement per side of the strap, 16 total configurations are possible.
ProFlex Ankle Strap – Powered by AuxTech™, these are incrediblyb expandable, super durable, and provide superior locked-in hold.
Buckles
Bombproof Buckles – BombProof Buckles are a one-piece forged aluminum construction for better grip and durability. Built with wider stance teeth area for more engagement, this makes for easier ratcheting and increased protection from wear and tear to your ladder straps.
Additional Features
Fast Entry – New for this season, Rome bindings feature FastEntry Technology for super quick and easy entry into the binding. The pre-curved ladder on the ankle and toe straps are designed to pop open and help keep the straps out of your way while getting your boot into the binding.

Intermediate-Advanced Whether you’re a progressing intermediate exploring new runs and terrain, or an accomplished rider seeking new thrills, the majority of skiers and snowboarders fall into this level. Intermediate to advanced skis and snowboards may be somewhat wider or stiffer than beginner-intermediate skis and snowboards, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Intermediate to advanced boots and bindings range from softer flexing freestyle options to stiffer choices built for stability at speed.

Medium The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
