Rossignol S74 W Skis + Saphir 90 Bindings - Women's 2011: The Rossignol S 74W Skis are ideal for intermediate to advanced women skiers that ski mostly on-piste terrain, but like the feel of a freeride ski. Built using Rossignol's Feminine Intuitive Technology, the Rossignol S 74W Skis take into account female skiers’ body shape and aims to reduce the weight of the skis without losing out on performance. Rossignol’s FIT system also includes a more forward positional of the binding mounting to give the skier a natural position on the ski, making skiing easier and optimizing the load distribution between tip and tail.

F.I.T. Construction: Rossignol aimed to reduce the weight of their women's skis without losing out on performance, thanks to specific cores and/or fibers used in the ski's construction. These FIT features reduce the weight of the core, a real boon for women skiers
Bindings
The Saphir 90 Bindings feature the high end Dual Action toe piece which releases 180 degrees. The heel provides an easy step-in design and the long lever arms make exiting the binding an effortless motion. The binding is ideal for all mountain skiers that want an easy to use and lightweight binding.

The contact points on skis with this profile are closer towards the middle of the ski than a fully cambered ski, but still not underfoot. The cambered midsection provides a longer effective edge on hardpack, increasing edge hold and stability, while the rockered tip and tail provide floatation in deeper snow and allow the ski to initiate and release from turns easier.
