Changing the laminate materials modifies the ski’s degree of reactiveness and stability. The ROSSITOP mini cap increases the ski’s durability and facilitates rebound. Traditional sidewalls produce crisp, direct edging pressure. Modifying sidewall angles and materials drastically alters the ski’s aggressiveness to match the model’s usage. Vibration Absorbing System Visco elastomer material integrated into the ski’s construction dampens vibrations, adding greater control, stability, and contact with the snow.

Wood cores provide ultimate feel, power and durability. Rossignol produces 90% of its adult skis with wood cores. Rossignol now uses more wood cores throughout the product lines to produce the best responsive feel with maximized stability. The cores are made from Ash, Poplar and Fume treatments and are hand milled to the shape of each skis profile. Wood used in Rossignol skis is harvested by the factory from sustainable wood, grown in renewable tree farms.
