The Atomic Affinity Air Skis + XTO 10 Bindings are a versatile all-mountain setup for strong beginner and intermediate skiers. This package has an easy flex, strong edge hold due to the Step Down Sidewall construction, and is forgiving in nature without sacrificing edgehold on hard snow. The All Mountain Rocker profile makes for effortless turn initiation both on and off-piste.

All Mountain Rocker – This ski profile is composed of 15% rocker in the tip and 85% camber throughout the rest of the ski. This provides excellent performance and control on all snow conditions and any terrain.
Core
Cap Fiber – The lightweight Cap Fiber construction reduces weight and ensures that the entry models deliver target group specific performance.
Sidewalls
Step Down Sidewall – The sidewall construction below the binding improves damping, shock absorption, and therefor edge grip; while half-cap construction at the tip and tail protects the ski from mechanical damage.

Carving For those that like the classic feeling of laying a ski over on edge and arcing a perfect turn, carving skis are what you want. These skis have narrower waists and shorter turn radii for edge to edge quickness and responsive turn initiation and exit on groomed runs and hard pack. The beginner-intermediate skis in this category are designed to make learning how to turn as easy as going from pizza to French fries. All-Mountain All-mountain skis are designed to handle anything you throw at them including powder, ice, groomers, steeps, heavy snow, and everything in between, but they aren’t necessarily a master of any one terrain. If you’re only going to own one ski to do it all, this is what you want. All-mountain skis generally have what we call mid-fat waists that range from 80-110 mm.

Rocker/Camber Rocker/Camber skis pair a traditional cambered profile underfoot with an elongated, early rise tip borrowed from fully rockered skis. This profile places the front contact point further back from the tip, while the rear contact point remains close to the tail. The rockered tip allows for better flotation and less edge catch for increased float in deep snow, while the cambered rear stores and transmits energy similarly to a fully cambered ski.
