Anyone strapping into the Jones Solution Snowboard knows exactly what they want. An aesthetically beautiful and elegantly designed board that straight 'kills it' on out-of-bounds runs. With it's pow-eating Blunt Nose and Directional Rocker, the Solution is the answer for everyone on the search for endless levitation in the goods. You can practically taste the carves when you have a stiff and flyweight Ultra Split-Core 2.0 steering this surfer with excellent handling. The Karakoram™ Hardware finishes off this beauty for a ride indistinguishable from your resort stick. Grab those dream lines with the Jones Solution Snowboard.
Directional Rocker – Camber underfoot with a long, gradual tip rocker and slight tail rocker. The rockered nose helps float in powder and improves maneuverability, while camber underfoot aids edgehold. Mild tail rocker lets you choose the turn shape that fits the occasion.
Flex Rating: 7 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) – Medium-stiff flex for immediate response and loads of control. Less forgiving but is ready to damage rails, kickers, and anything else you toss at it. Well-rounded flex for all-mountain excursions.
Directional Shape
Blunt Nose – "How a board glides in powder, crust, corn, or any snow condition more then an inch deep is dictated by its front contact point and just past it. Next time you are in soft snow, watch how much snow comes over the corner of the nose near the contact point. The billowing snow means you are plowing through it which is obviously slowing you down. By adding a blunt nose, you get the float benefits of a much longer board tip without the added length or swing weight." - Jeremy Jones
Progressive Sidecut – At the far ends of the sidecut, the radius is incrementally increased as the edge reaches the contact point. Gradually decreasing the side cut radius towards the contact point delivers smoother turn initiation and exit as the edge tracks in and out of the snow with a less abrupt transition.
Ultra Split-Core 2.0 – Ultralight and durable core of triple density hardwoods designed exclusively for splitboards. Hardwood stringers are positioned at the edges for response and durability.
Carbon Split Stringers – Eight carbon stringers positioned in key locations to provide strength and torsional stiffness in splitboards.
Quadrax Carbon Layup – Multi-layered, multi-axis fiberglass meshed with dual zone carbon fiber power bands - this signature Jones construction provides supreme snap and stability on steeps and at speed.
Recycled ABS Sidewalls – Jones is in it for the long haul, and with sustainability in mind they use only recycled plastic for their sidewalls.
Die-Cut Base – Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
Sintered 9900 Base – Sintered UHMW Polyethylene is the fastest and hardest material in the industry and holds wax extremely well.
Belt Ground Finish – Smooth a flat right from the factory
Die-Cut Base – Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
Inner and Outside Magne-Traction™ Edges – You can't afford to lose your edge on that sketchy sidehill traverse, hence Magna-Traction™ on both sides.
Oversized Recycled Edges – Recycled, thicker steel reinforces the snowboard's edges to give you exceptional impact resistance.
Eco-Plastic Topsheet – This bio-plastic topsheet material is made from soybeans and is ultralight, chip and scratch resistant, and resists snow buildup.
Karakoram™ Hardware – All Jones splitboards feature Karakoram™ K-Clips plus tip and tail hardware. The adjustable tension K-Clips deliver a rock solid connection and add to torsional stiffness.
Quick Tension Tail – Designed to work in conjunction with Jones Quick Tension Tail Clip², this secure notch hold the tail strap of the skin securely and cleanly.
Factory Tuned – Factory de-tuned at the tip and tail so you can charge from run one without worrying about hookiness.
One Ball Jay BIO Wax – Factory waxed and ready to shred right out of the shop with One Ball Jay BIO wax.
Wrap Tip Construction – Full wood core to the tip with the ABS sidewall wrapping all the way around the tip for added response and durability
