Gift your grom with the ride of his life. The Futures Grom John Honeycomb Tri Fin Set is dialed in for a performance that could handle the freestyle-charging abilities of pro John John Florence. Kids love taking the waves as far as they can go, and this grom model thruster set is constructed with Futures Honeycomb while holding a balanced feel between response and predictability with a ride number of 6.1. Flat foiled fins give surfers a quick break into turns enabling speed control and quick lashes into the wave. Get your little shredder whipping through barrels in no time with the Futures Grom John Honeycomb Tri Fin Set.
Honeycomb – A lightweight hexagonal core gives these fins the feel of glass-ons. Engineered with a medium flex pattern, stiffer than Blackstix but more flexible than Fiberglass.
Side Fins – Height: 4.31" / Base: 4.15" / Area: 13" / Foil: Flat
Center Fin – Height: 4.31" / Base: 4.15" / Area: 13" / Foil: Symmetrical
Symmetrical Foil – Even water flows to both sides of symmetrical foil fins for a fluid consistent feeling that is predictable in all conditions.
Flat Foil – Flat foiled fins break free sooner, and are better at controlling speed. Often surfers prefer them in fast powerful surf where they do not need to create additional speed. If you have muscle memory from riding glass-ons, flat foiled fins will feel the closest.
Ride Number 6.1/10 – Ride Number is all about how your equipment feels while you're surfing. Now you can choose a Speed Generating Feel that is springy and responsive by picking a fin in the 10-7 range, or a solid, engaged, and predictable feel from the Speed Control category rated 4-1. For a Balanced feel try a Ride Number of 7-4.
