Dalbello V.I.R.U.S. Lite I.D Alpine Touring Ski Boots 2011: Created for the backcountry skier who spends more, if not most of their time touring, the lightweight Dalbello V.I.R.U.S. Lite I.D Alpine Touring Boot is the younger, lighter, out-of-bounds cousin to Dalbello's Krypton lineup. Designed and approved by ski-legend Glen Plake, these lightweight boots provide maximum flex for longer, fast-moving strides with an articulated, double hinged Bio-Stride tongue and double hinged buckles that allow for a more ergonomic fit. Walk more comfortably using longer strides with a split-hinged tongue that, when open, swings freely, thereby giving this boot an exceptional capacity for walking.

Get better control on the downhill and improved comfort going uphill with ID Thermo inner boots; Dual compatibility boot: tech binding-compatible sole works with bindings using tech inserts such as Dynafit or G3 Onyx; UNI-compatible lugged sole for ski mountaineering works with AT bindings. Ultralon EVA provides a heat moldable, custom fit for any skier.
Additional Features
Ergonomically designed 3-buckle design crosses the boot at the shin, ankle, and mid foot with double-hinge buckles that provides more flexibility in walk mode with a long glide range. Know that your foot is secure with Dual Dynalink rear foot retention.
