A directional multi radial camber-rocker profile gives this all mountain slayer a wide nose and half-moon narrow tail for effortless float and nimble maneuverability in the tight spaces you find on ridgelines and approaches. Camber underfoot helps you stick to the skin track with ease, and a rugged topsheet and sintered base hold up repeated hits from exposed terrain traps that poke out of the snow. Designed by Bellingham artist Brooklyn Bell, a portion of the proceeds from the Eclipse go towards AIARE avalanche education scholarships. Directional Multi Radial Camber Rocker Profile – A gradual increase from the nose to a more aggressive camber radius in the tail provides better pop/dampening on drops and control on bigger lines.

Freedom Split | Paulownia / Poplar – Weston's paulownia/poplar core designed to be super lightweight and responsive for our ladies of shred.
Laminates
Tail V Carbon – Carbon fiber runs from the tail inserts to the tail contact points to provide added edge to edge response and spring in the tail.
Tri-Axe Glass – Multi-axis, stitched fiberglass laminate that offers a precise and responsive ride in any terrain or snow conditions.
Rooted Inserts – Just like roots help keep a plant grounded, flax reinforcement in areas of the core help increase strength and durability.
Sidewalls
UHMW PE Sidewalls – Highly durable sidewall that protects core from impact and increases torsional stability.
Stitched Tips – Weston's tip spacers are stitched to the core to provide added durability.
Base
Sintered 4000 Base – Fast ride, more durable, good wax retention.
Forged Tips – Stainless steel metal tip and tail pieces protect from damage and increase durability.
Topsheet
Rugged Topsheet – Polymide is eco friendly and made from castor beans. The topsheet is durable and resistant to scratches and scuffs.
Graphics
Art by Brooklyn Bell – Featuring rad artwork from Bellingham, WA athlete/artist Brooklyn Bell, a portion of the proceeds from this board will be going to continue funding AIARE avalanche education scholarships.
Additional Features
Karakoram UltraClips and Active Joining – Karakoram UltraClips and Tip-Locks use Active Joining to spring load the seam of your splitboard, eliminating the rattling shearing, and rolling inherent to passive slip-fit connections. Simply close the lever to lock in the most responsive ride.
Split Tech – Weston don't skimp on their splits. You'll see a full inner metal edge, complete with sidewall and dampening tape. Also, when facing a kick-turn on a steep slope, you want all the help you can get - that's why Weston balances their splits so that they are tail heavy.

Splitboarding A splitboard snowboard is built specifically for the backcountry rider. Splitboards are designed to break down into two separate halves for touring and uphill travel (with climbing skins). Special bindings are required as well. Once you've reached the top of the terrain feature, you reconnect your splitboard for the ride back downhill. However, it's important to note that you will need appropriate backcountry tools, knowledge of the backcountry, weather and snow conditions and climbing skins to safely take advantage of the freedom of a splitboard.

Medium The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
