Perhaps the most powerful recreational women's boot on the market, the Tecnica Mach1 Pro W LV Ski Boots rip as hard as anything out there, but exhibit an admirably civilized fit by performance boot standards. The 98 mm last will work for many average width feet with a little coaxing from a good bootfitter, and the instep height is easily regulated by grinding the C.A.S. bootboard if that dimension is too low for your foot. Finally, Tecnica's introduction of Cuff Adapt - a heat moldable rear cuff for women's boots - lets those with athletic calves avoid the pain and artificially induced forward lean they've long had to endure.

Fit
Last: 98 mm – Narrower than average last with 7% less volume than Tecnica's MV (Medium Volume) fit.
C.A.S. Shell with Cuff Adapt – Custom Adaptive Shape shells are anatomically formed around the heel and problem areas at the factory. Common punch zones are plainly marked with a dot grid pattern on the shell, and the new polyether and Triax 3.0 shell materials offer improved stability when heated.
C.A.S. Grindable Boot Board – The removable C.A.S. boot board offers plenty of thickness for grinding and a grid pattern for reference.
C.A.S. Cuff Adapter – C.A.S Cuff Adapter technology allows for a wide range of customization in the upper cuff area that can greatly improve comfort and performance. The cuff is heat moldable at 80˚C (176˚F) to conform to a wide range of calf shapes, and can increase in volume by 10% or decrease by 5%.
Quick Instep – A shaped plastic component at the instep that is softer than the rest of the shell helps you to step into and out of the ski boot.

Liner
C.A.S. Women's Ultrafit Pro with Thermoforming Collar – Thin and responsive pre-formed liner offers superior performance and fit. Uses a microcell material that is pre-shaped to the anatomy of the foot. The microcell is also easy to customize and has a low pack-out rate over time.
Celliant® Insulation – Celliant is powered by 13 thermoreactive minerals that convert body heat into infrared energy. Infrared penetrates deep into the tissue to increase circulation, oxygen and blood flow. This results in improved performance, thermal regulation and faster recovery.
