Hyperlite's Syn is the board of choice for their "It Girls" team, and it's easy to see why. Want speed into the wake? The Syn's continuous rocker will have you flying into the wake, and popping off of it consistently. Need agility and responsiveness? The variable edge design is soft underfoot, and sharp at the tip and tail to be as quick and responsive as possible. Want to ride the cable? With the Syn's Monocoque Construction you know you can stick it on any slider, rail, or box. In addition to all this, the Syn strays away from traditional board design with short, curved, molded-in fins which end almost two inches away from the tip and tail of the board, which means that you'll know the fin is there when you feel the control in the wake, but it's not enough to delay release off the wake. Need a board that can do it all? Hyperlite's Syn is the board for you.
Continuous Rocker – Designed to carry great speed into the wake with minimal drag, a Continuous rocker generates a longer trajectory with similar pop every time.
Top contours for maximum weight reduction
Satin Flex – Tailored specifically to the needs of smaller and lighter rider's, a softer glass layup creates a softer flex and a board built to female and youth rider standards.
Layered Glass – Over time traditional woven glass fiber will begin to seperate, but Hyperlite's layered glass ensures that its decks will have the same pop off the double up year after year.
Monocoque Construction – The top glass and bottom glass are integrated into one structure, generating a more durable board on side impact and thus preventing delamination.
Variable Edge Design – By blending sharper edges where you want them with rounder edges where you don't, this construction technique offers exceptional edge control while maintaining agility and playfulness.
Biolite 3 Core – Cooked up in the Hyperlite labs, this is the secret recipe that Hyperlite has continued to perfect from day one. The industry's gold standard core material starts with Bio 3 foam and then is wrapped in layered glass. This yields a core that is strong enough for the best athletes but also perfect for the first time rider, and it is lighter and more durable than any Bio core that has come before.
