The Yes. First Basic Snowboard for kids is built to get youngsters out enjoying the white stuff with confidence and excitement. Featuring a medium flex and a CamRock profile, it offers just the right mix of stability, float, and easy turning to keep progression fun and frustration-free. With UnderBite edges for better edge hold and control, this board helps young riders build their skills while having an absolute blast on the mountain.
FlatRock – The Flat Rock profile features a flat design, offering a forgiving ride with minimal unexpected feedback. It delivers a smooth, stable feel that’s perfect for riders who appreciate consistency and control. Ideal for beginners or anyone looking for a laid-back, fuss-free boarding experience.
Flex Rating – 4 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff)
True Twin – Symmetrically shaped with an identical nose and tail, ideal for freestyle riders and terrain park enthusiasts. A True Twin shape enables riders to ride both regular and switch stances with ease.
Classic Sidecut – A single radius from tip to tail, creating a smooth and predictable curve. Contributes to a user-friendly design that is versatile and suitable for many conditions and types of riders.
Fluid Core – A lightweight wood core technology developed by YES. Snowboards, engineered to enhance flex, pop, and durability. This construction delivers a responsive and balanced ride across all terrains, making it ideal for riders seeking versatility and performance in various snow conditions.
Biax Glass Fiber Construction – Biaxial, or "Biax," fiberglass features fibers oriented in two directions—along the board’s length and width. This layout creates a well-balanced flex that offers a more forgiving, user-friendly ride. It boosts torsional flex, making turns and transitions feel smoother and more natural. Ideal for riders who value a playful, adaptable feel over aggressive performance.
Extruded – This material is formed by extrusion and is softer than sintered bases. At the speeds many riders take, this material is actually quicker than sintered bases when waxed correctly. It retains wax better because it's more porous and is easy to fix with a P-Tex stick if it gets scratched.

Hanger 2 – Hanger 2.0 maintains the 30% fiberglass reinforcement but introduces I-Beam wall sections for added rigidity and reduced weight. This design continues the baseless concept, promoting even board flex and direct energy transfer. It also features a significantly wider platform than Hanger 1, accommodating larger boots and providing increased lateral support.
Nylon Post – The Post, a unique component of #YES Bindings. The Post is the crucial connection between the binding and the board, where the disc sits and securely attaches the two. What sets the #YES Post apart is its minimal imprint on the board, preserving the board’s full flex integrity for optimal performance.Crafted from Nylon and injected with glass fiber, the Post is both stiff and lightweight, ensuring seamless connectivity and precise energy transfer.
Flushcup Technology – Designed to hold boots even without a highback, these have a flush inner surface where the highback meets the heelcup. This gives direct energy transfer between boot and binding.
NXGEN Footpillow
Light Flex Highback – The Light Flex Highback from #YES Bindings, designed with the progressing young rider in mind. This youth-focused highback combines the softness required for comfort with a central spine that adds the necessary stiffness for board control. It’s the ideal tool for kids learning the nuances of snowboarding, offering a balance of support and flexibility. The Light Flex is engineered with large cut-out areas, significantly reducing its weight for easier handling and maneuverability. These strategic cuts are not just for reducing weight; they’re also placed to optimize flex in key areas. Light, comfortable, and built to support both learning and advancing, the Light Flex Highback is the solution for your kids progression path.
Asym Ease Ankle Strap – This minimalist ankle strap features the same geometry footprint as the FRS strap but in a much more mellow environment. If you’re looking for a softer strap but still want comfort, durability and Flip-it functionality, then this is the one’s for you!
Stretch Fit Toe Strap – Sometimes what works best is a simple, streamlined, minimalist design, and for this - a 3D strap with Stretch-fit is offered.
Nylon with Glass Fiber Buckle Levers – Our Glass Fiber buckle levers, crafted from a blend of Nylon and glass fiber. Stiff and solid, these levers provide a quick and secure strap-in process.
Skate Tech – Inspired by how easily and efficiently a skateboard turns, Skate Tech mimics the function of skateboard trucks. Traditional bindings diminish energy transfer by flexing and bending the baseplate, forcing you to crank straps down harder, ride with more forward lean, or run taller and stiffer highbacks. Skate Tech bindings bypass the middle of the snowboard and direct your energy right onto the board's edges, transfering more power to the board with less work.
Bushings – Soft (40 Shore)

V1 Waffle Lug with All-Trac – With the introduction of the V1 Waffle Lug outsole, Vans pays tribute to the timeless vulcanized look that put them on the map. Now with All-Trac cold weather rubber compound.
Heat Retention 360º – All Vans snowboard boots feature a newly improved thermal retention layer that provides a 360° wrap of the toe box and between the outsole and the liner. This essential layer keeps heat in and cold out, ensuring all-day warmth and comfort.
