So you're an all-star at carving on groomers, but lately you've been tempted to venture off-piste-- that's where the Salomon Q-83 Myriad Skis should come out to play. When you go off the good stuff, you'll still have ample control with Salomon's Hook Free Taper that keeps you from catching your edges in the bumps and crud. The slight rocker will keep you floating and help you to initiate turns, yet you still have a lot of camber to power through speed runs when you do go back to the good ol' corduroy. Break your shredding trend and see what the rest of the mountain has to offer you.
Utility Rocker – Designed for maximum versatility, directional stability, and float in powder
Carve Zone – The traditionally cambered section of twin rocker skis, where the sidecut is focused for more power, energy and edge grip.
Hook Free Taper – Ski has 5-point sidecut, with taper in the tip and tail for easier turn initiation and steering in soft and variable snow conditions
Full Wood Core – A full wood core creates a strong, stable, and responsive ski.
Oversized Pulsepad – Anti vibration layer molded onto the ski all along the front part of the ski to filter vibrations for better absorption and smooth ski/snow contact.
Pulse Pad – Two layers of rubber elastomer in the tip, tail, and underfoot give shock absorption and improve durability of ski.
Semi-Sandwich Sidewall – A combination of ABS sidewall in the middle of the ski and monocoque in the tip and tail means edge grip underfoot and light weight in the tip and tail.
Total Edge Reinforcemenet – A fiber reinforcement directly on the edges that provides edge stiffness for improved durability and grip.
Wide Edges – For durability and shock resistance.

We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
