The Liberty Jinx Skis are all mountain freeride skis for gals that want the best possible ski for all conditions. Why would the Jinx excel in this function, you ask? First of all, a 94 mm waist is a great compromise of soft snow float and hard snow nimbleness. Liberty's Stealth Rocker has a long, low, rockered tip for deeper days, but still gives you the ability to point it and carve on groomers with camber underfoot through the tail of the ski. Plus, the twin tip tail makes turn initiation easier in tougher conditions, and throws up a nice rooster tail at speed, too. To top it all off, the XCore uses lightweight Paulownia, Bamboo, and Poplar, for the perfect combination of weight savings, dampness, and energy.
Stealth Rocker – Long, low tip rocker with camber underfoot and a flat tail for easy turn initiation without sacrificing edge grip and liveliness.
Progressive Tapered Tip/Tail – Easier carving & powder slashing
XCore – The energy of bamboo, coupled with super light paulownia and durable poplar.
Durathane – A polyurethane bumper to smooth out the ride and protect against topsheet chipping.
Fiber Reinforced Polymer – Mats of dense material under the binding area to increase screw retention and add rigidity.
Quadaxial Glass – Custom weave E-Glass creates torsional stability while allowing easy longitudinal flex to initiate turns and absorb terrain.
Bamboo Backbone – Laminated bamboo gives tremendous rebound and energy while being environmentally friendly.
Whitewalls – Made of resilient and repairable UHMW PE, for a smooth and durable ride.
P-Tex 2000 – Fast, porous, durable base
HRC 48 – Specially treated edges feature a wider profile with larger anchors for greater durability and longer life.
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
