When powder snow is your jam, you'd better make sure you've got some stout peanut butter to back it up. That's where the DPS Wailer 112 RPC 2.0 - Powderworks Edition Skis come in. Kin to the regular 112 RP2 in name only, this is a stouter, wider, and more powerful ride for point-it-and-go skiers more than the flowy-soul-surfer types who prefer the normal 112 RP. The 2017 2.0 version of the RPC one-ups the original with special damping mechanisms built into the layup to provide a super smooth and powerful ride, especially desirable when charging variable snow and uneven terrain. Note: This is a special Powderworks edition offered through DPS' Dreamtime program, so you won't be seeing a lot of them on the hill -- get 'em while you can!

Infinite Flex Life – Pure3 skis employ the most advanced prepreg nano resins and space age laminates which results in ultimate performance and value. Unlike conventional skis that break down over a season, Pure3 construction maintains the same pop, power and life after years of hard use.
Paddle Tech – Tapered, flatter sidecut section that blends at the contact points. It's the special ingredient that drives a uniquely smooth and intuitive sense of turn shape.
Chassis Design – In ski design, there is a conventional hierarchy of variables that drive the end shape. From 2016 onwards, DPS has re-prioritized and reorganized these drivers so that the design now starts directly under your foot and moves outward to the tip and tail, as opposed to overlaying flex patterns on pre-drawn shapes. The result is an optimized relationship between the flex pattern and sidecut that is perfected through testing, and then mathematically translated across every new model in the lineup. The goal is to create a distinct DPS feel that can be sensed in every ski from the Cassiar 82 all the way to the Lotus 124.
Pure 3 | Aspen Core – Truly unique, DPS Pure3 construction makes for the most advanced and highest performing skis on Earth. Carbon+Nano features exclusive aerospace carbon and nanotech technology, and the absolute finest accompanying materials. Revolutionary on both paper and on snow, Pure3 showcases years of research and refinement in a ski that is 30% lighter than conventional constructions, while at the same time 30% torsionally stiffer, stronger, and more powerful.
Pure3 Carbon + Nano Construction – Exclusive aerospace carbon and nanotech technology deliver unparalleled strength and power. Compared to conventional constructions, Pure3 is 30% lighter and 30% torsionally stiffer, stronger, and more powerful.
Ultra-Durable Textured Polyamide Topsheet
UHMW Sidewalls
Graphite World Cup Race Base – Fastest bases, because speed is good! No die-cut or colored bases that cause durability and speed issues.
Wide Profile Rockwell 48c Steel Edges
Special Edition Graphics – Offered through the DPS Dreamtime program.
PW² (Perimeter Weighted Inserts) – Perimeter weighted inserts mate the power of carbon with a damper ride, equally suited for high-speed hard snow performance as it is for surfing powder.
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
