Hemp Ply has been one of Habitat’s most popular constructions for those looking for a slightly stronger deck. A thin sheet of Hemp fabric is pressed into the deck for added strength and rigidity. For 2009 Habitat is re-engineering the construction with the Hemp sheet being pressed onto the top ply and sealed with a thick clearcoat. This creates a unique look and makes the technology more visual than the original Hemp Ply.
