Anon Oslo Wavecel Helmet - Medium (56cm-59cm)

This helmet is great for anyone, beginner to advanced, looking to protect their head while skiing or boarding at the resort. I might not recommend this helmet to intense backcountry skiers and boarders, as the passive ventilation might not be enough to offload all that body heat, which may impact performance. Finding a perfect fit can be tricky, but the Polartec liner makes the helmet comfortable for most head shapes. This helmet is across-the-board a great piece of gear for almost any rider.

Bottom Line

WaveCel technology and Anon’s in-mold construction make this one of the safest helmets on the market, and it looks sick and is really comfortable. Safety really takes center stage when talking about any of the WaveCel helmets. The WaveCel layer is made up of hundreds of tiny cells that bend together to divert and disperse impact force so the Earth doesn’t slam directly into your brain. While the whole WaveCel line sports this tech, the Oslo is my favorite based on aesthetics and design. The WaveCel layer’s bright green accents give it a futuristic alien look, and passive ventilation allows for a simple, sleek face and top. Passive ventilation may not be enough for backcountry riders or anyone who dumps a lot of heat through their heads, but the Fidlock buckle makes it easy to get on and off to cool down on the lift or a beer break. We all love MIPS, but this WaveCel technology really deserves the same praise; it will keep your head working long after the falls you may take on the mountain. Strap on the Oslo and send it - you’re gonna look cool and feel safe and confident.
